Over the last few months, the fifth graders have been very fortunate to be able to participate in an artist residency program. We've been working with Mr West, a local artist and architect, to create a scale map of our neighborhood. We also worked with a talented cartographer named Mr. Downer. We learn many interesting things about creating map. We used many of our math skills to successufully complete this exciting project. | ![]() |
